The Goodwill Computer Works in Austin is half electronic thrift store, half computer museum. There, you can find a copy of Mechwarrior 2 for $3, parts for your busted PowerBook and see an actual Cray supercomputer. It is nerd Valhalla.

The new rig - I decided to build a new PC for some gaming and also for some C# and Java hacking.  I built the new box with a local theme in mind - its powered by an AMD Phenom, some ATI cards and a bunch of spare parts bought at the local Austin Fry’s Electronics.
